Briefly, I found this article on theage.com.au today it is written by a man named Charlie Brooker, whom I don't know personally, but I like him already.
He is able to entail the essence of my feelings towards Macs, summed up almost perfectly with:
"Windows is like the faint smell of piss in a subway: it's there, and there's nothing you can do about it."
