Damien

A friend of mine used to live in Perth, home and origin to many fine Australian band (Pendulum from my last post being one of them) other bands that are well known off the top of my head include Gyroscope, Eskimo Joe and Jebediah. With the WAMI's recently being celebrated I thought I'd tell you a quick story from my friend.

You'd think in Perth they'd be pretty familiar with some of their local produce so to speak, so when my friend walked into one of the cities smaller independant record stores and asked for Perth band Tame Impala's EP the reply he recieved came up short of expectation.
"Damien Mala? Who the hell is Damien Mala? I've never heard of him"
Therefore, from now on, Tame Impala will be known as Damien Mala. So. Without further adue, here is a strange, but after a couple of watches, pretty cool clip for the new Damien Mala song - which is totally rad itself. I'm really looking forward to their new album dropping. Enjoy.
